Amanda Smith took a unique path from pastry chef to baking the highest quality dog treats to retail shop owner. As a dog lover herself, she and her fiance found the perfect location in Morristown and have quickly built a strong community of loyal dog owners. Amanda has a bleeding heart for rescue animals, being the proud mom to three dogs, and she has built close ties to the local pet rescues hosting adoption events and raising money for them as well.

Local ties: Bubba Rose Biscuit Company stays hands on with a lot of local rescues and has formed a great relationship with a lot of them!

About Amanda:

Quirky Stat: I majored in political science in college, then was trained as a pastry chef, now I own a pet boutique lol I have a lot of interests.

Best moment as a business owner: Wow this is tough. We’ve been fortunate to have a really exciting first year but I would say just getting to know my clients so well, you almost become part of their family when you really care genuinely about their dogs.

Favorite activity in New Jersey: There’s so much I love about NJ. In the summer we’re pretty much hiking with the dogs, kayaking or at a concert every weekend. In the winter, I love checking out all the amazing restaurants and breweries in our area. I’m a huge foodie!
